Compensation:
$17.00 per hour part time per diem 8-32 hours per week work week. Anticipate in the next 12-24 months transitioning into a 24 hour shift
schedule.

Job Description:
Firefighter/ Engineer will be on duty at the Robbins Fire Station (48) 8 hours per day. Essential duties will include operate apparatus and equipment in support of firefighting, rescue and/or other emergency and non-emergency activities. Perform fire suppression, rescue and basic life support activities. Participate and plan fire prevention duties including training and education for volunteer personnel. Perform mechanical maintenance on apparatus and equipment. Maintain and assist with care of station and surrounding grounds.
Background:
Sutter Basin Fire Protection District is a small rural fire district located in the southern part of Sutter County and just north of Yolo County. The District encompasses a large amount of the rich Sutter Basin farmland and small city of Robbins. The Sutter Basin Fire District has a long and distinguished reputation
as a volunteer department, but now will be providing a higher level of service to our valued residents and commuters that routinely travel thru.
