RED BLUFF, Calif. — Update: Monday, July 24, 3:48 p.m.:
Cal Fire says forward progress has been stopped on the fire burning two structures and about an acre of vegetation off of Highway 99 and Sunbright Avenue in Tehama County.
Officials confirmed Highway 99 has reopened with traffic control, so drivers are asked to use caution while traveling through the area.
The cause of the fire has not been determined, however, Cal Fire says firefighters have knock down on both structures involved. Cal Fire says crews will remain at scene working mop up for the next few hours.
