TULARE COUNTY, Calif. (KBAK/FOX58) — Nearly 50 Kern County firefighters were requested to assist in the Dry Creek Complex wildfire in Tulare County.
Currently, the wildfire has burned 378 acres and is 15% contained, according to Cal Fire.
Those assigned to the fire include KCFD’s Crews 10, 11, and Overhead, totaling 48 firefighters.
Kern Fire personnel join in the efforts to fight the wildfire during a busy week of activity in Kern, said officials. The collaborative effort is due to the Master Mutual Aid System.
The cause of the fire is unknown at this time.
